Mission

Within the over-arching mission of the Controller's Office to provide excellent service to faculty, staff, students and visitors within an environment of effective and efficient controls, Payroll performs the following functions:

Processes all university payrolls for faculty, staff and students.
Updates direct deposit instructions for all new employees. Changes to payroll direct deposit instructions are handled by Payroll. Changes to expense reimbursement direct deposit instructions are handled by Disbursements.
Provides service to international customers to comply with federal tax reporting requirements.
Processes federal tax returns and tax deposits to comply with payroll tax regulations.
