SERVICE AWARDS

Applies to: Faculty and Staff

Rice University values the contributions of faculty and staff members. The University recognizes employees' service anniversaries marking each five-year period of cumulative employment. Only full years of service are taken into account in determining eligibility.

Faculty and staff members who are eligible for benefits and who have observed their fifth, tenth, fifteenth, twentieth, etc. anniversary dates during the year are invited to a special program at which they are presented with a token of the University's appreciation.

Faculty and staff retirees who meet the eligibility for this designation are also recognized at the luncheon.
